Garmin NuviPhone GPS Phone
Garmin has boldly expanded to a new territory, cellphone. Their first phone is called “Nuviphone”, equipped with 3.5G technology and as usual the expertise of its parent company, the GPS capability. It would hit the store at fall this year. With its sleek touchscreen display, web browser, camera, bluetooth and WiFi, it is comparable to the flagship models of contemporary players in cellphone, such as Sony Ericsson and Nokia.
In my opinion, Garmin could use new innovations to gain mass attention, for that purpose it is equipped with unique capabilities, such as, Google Local Search integration and real-time traffic information via Garmin Online. Users would also be able to automatically tag their pictures with their current location.
